Planning a private event at Joni: what to know

We host a lot of private events at Joni, and the question we get asked most is simply: what's it actually like? Here's the short version, and how to start planning your own.

The setting

Our flagship private hire package runs at Joni at The Botanical Gardens, with exclusive use of the café and access to the terrace, panoramic views across the Victorian gardens make it one of the best backdrops for an evening event in Sheffield.

The menu

Events run around our Italian Feast menu: freshly baked focaccia and marinated olives to share, a choice of three mains, including a rich beef and red wine lasagne and a vegetarian penne puttanesca, and a choice of dessert. It's built to feel generous rather than fussy.

Numbers and pricing

The space holds up to 60 guests inside plus 40 more on the terrace, at £39.95 per guest including VAT, with a minimum spend of £1,800 including VAT. Drinks are charged separately, with beverage packages available on request.
